Kilometres and age
Commuter cars rack up kilometres. Higher mileage lowers the number, but a well-kept older car still has real value.
Service history
Oil changes, brakes and timing belt work done on time show the car was looked after. Keep the receipts handy.
Accident history
Past repairs affect the price. Tell us what you know and we'll factor it in from the start.
Trim and options
A sport trim, sunroof, leather or a better sound system can move the number, so mention them.
What we don't buy
We're used car buyers, not a scrap yard.
The only cars we don't buy are scrap and junk cars: cars that are only worth their scrap metal or parts, like one that's been badly burned, flooded or stripped for parts. For those, a licensed auto recycler is the better call. A car that doesn't run isn't automatically junk. If it's complete and worth fixing, we'll take a look.
